TASTING NOTE: Not another "me too" copycat, this fresh take on Chardonnay lightens up on the oak and comes through as brightly as a spring day. Aromas and flavors of honeysuckle and vanilla layered with Granny Smith apple, jasmine, apricot, and butterscotch pudding finish with beautiful acids and tropical notes. Not your stepmother's Chardonnay, this wine is medium-bodied with delightful layers and a refreshing finish.
TASTING NOTE: As fresh and crisp as just-pressed linens, this citrusy, mineral-driven Riesling is a racy quencher, perfect with spicy Asian entrees. Zesty lemon, grapefruit and Kaffir lime leaf aromas lead with a welcoming nose, layered with flavors of honeyed nectarines on the mid-palate. A round mouthfeel, finishing clean with minerality, makes this Riesling a great equalizer for piquant or pepper-laden foods.
TASTING NOTE: Whatever will be, will be...and in this case it's a beautiful joyride of wet slate, papaya seed, and chocolate-covered Bing cherries, rounded out by dark fruits and spices such as Damson plums, marionberry, clove, star anise and violets. Those deep-purple fruits and spicy notes linger on a silky finish peppered with medium tannins. Go big or don't bother.
